Update! Hugo's biopsy results came back and he does not have cancer!! Unfortunately, he's still sick, but we know what's going on. He will be on medication for about a year and should live a normal lifespan. BEST NEWS EVER!

Ten (!!!) years ago my first book deal was announced. I can't believe I've been in the kid lit industry for a decade!

I had fun this past weekend drawing three dog illustrations for @wamal.bsky.social! They have a fundraiser every year where you can get your pet poorly (or not so poorly) drawn. Here are the three dog illustrations I made as a volunteer.
