There's a nascent #SecondLife viewer called #PyroKitty that's in development. It uses Godot as the rendering engine, and from the vids I've seen (from its devs) it renders quite well, and can even render mesh and rigged items! Look forward to it being launched!

I'd say that a majority of my problems crashing out of #SecondLife is because of connection problems. Windows 'kindly' hide 'temporary problems' until it became severe. #CachyOS immediately alerts me whenever a connection problem happens. The result:
Observation on running #KokuaViewer on #CachyOS, visiting a very-texture-and-PBR-heavy dance party in #SecondLife : 1. My GPU doesn't heat as much as when I was still using Win10 2. Several times the viewer froze, but after a couple of seconds work again. Which is great, actually! (See below)

Oookay I just learnt from my mentor that #bash actually perform syntax checking etc when a function is first defined. So if you want a bash script to not error out mid-processing, leaving the system in an indeterminate state, wrap the logic inside a main() function. Then execute that function.
Remember, folks, that an #XML reply is still a valid reply from an API endpoint. You have no rights dictating what encoding format an API will return to you. If your app can't handle XML replies then that's YOUR skill issue. Full stop.
