This, from the Quakers, is a pretty good example of how to resist pressure from bigot lobbying groups. Effectively “we legally can allow trans people to use the loo, we morally should, and we tried it and nothing bad happened”

I am planning an event @wshed.bsky.social for the culture sector around our collective role in building togetherness to combat the rise of the far right. I am talking with Hope not Hate and imagining a mix of talk and workshop covering. Is this something you would be interested to attend?

An open letter to the Equality and Human Rights Commission from the Culture Sector, in solidarity with Trans, Nonbinary and Intersex communities. Democracy is not served by cancelling people you disagree with. Beat them with your arguments, positive policies and..for those politically motivated…your hard work getting the message out. Bear in mind some candidates will be less than happy walking up those 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ stairs and with an award winning 🚾 🤭

Here is a piece from our CEO @clarered.bsky.social on the WECA Mayoral Transport Hustings taking place today. In it Clare shares some context in response to public feedback (some are angry we haven't cancelled the event, others have expressed support). www.watershed.co.uk/articles/not...

Normally when I say vaccine injury, people look at me like I'm a deluded conspiracy theorist and along side everything else, that hurts. This week it’s at the centre of the covid inquiry so I shared some thoughts from a fully-vaccinated, injury-adjacent perspective. www.linkedin.com/posts/clarer...

Having watched the brilliant Nickel Boys yesterday @wshed.bsky.social i am left thinking about how much has not changed. Yesterday i read that inmates make up 1/3 of California's fire fighting force and face considerable higher danger and injury levels than their professional counter parts.

We are planning some changes to our open plan offices and we need some areas for zoom calls and for quiet, focus. We cant really afford fancy pods - what are you using? What have you seen that works? Thinking seriously about garden sheds LOL.
