Did a bit of everything from development to management. Now writing Elixir. See https://claudio-ortolina.org
Love the product and use it daily, and I'm glad to see that the server component is written both in #ElixirLang and #GleamLang (will read the source later this week).
atuin ai is now open source 🐢✨ you can self host the atuin ai backend! - byok - local models - simple stateless dockerfile - apache licensed
Yep! Happened to me too. Bluesky disabled all my DMs by default. Go check yours at “Chat > Settings”
⚠️ FYI, this happened to me as well so there's a good likelihood it's happened to you.
It was really fun! I tried to ramble as little as possible. My main point was that pi lets me build tools that are tightly integrated, and usable by me and the LLM. It helps me being more effective without relinquishing control.
A few weeks ago, I paired with @claudio-ortolina.org where he shared a bit about his AI workflow and how he uses pi, as he walked me through his app to manage his huge (and ever growing) record collection. Thanks again Claudio for pairing! www.elixirstreams.com/ai_files/pai... #ElixirLang
This next year is going to be extremely testing financially. Cost of living continues to grow & interest rates are crazy high. In the next 6 months I'm going to have to somehow earn a *lot* more just to continue to barely stay above the waterline. Not sure what to do. Suggestions on a postcard!
I’ll be available in a part-time capacity for #ElixirLang work within the next month or two. If you open my profile you can find my website with a link to my talks, and I’m fairly easy to find on LinkedIn for past work experience.
is this such an important step for computer science - i.e. not just for #Elixir / OTP this issue is now *done*. damn! github.com/elixir-lang/...

@tangled.org might be silly question but how do I trigger a manual pipeline? I can’t find a button or instructions in the docs. Thanks!
For a glamorous Saturday night laundry, giving this super cheesy classic a spin.
I'm enjoying listening to this excellent album which samples original voice recordings from the Apollo mission era while watching Artemis II coverage album.link/i/1738417407

@zachdaniel.dev before I open an issue and possibly a PR, is there any appetite to have a `usage_rules.list_available_rules` (or other name) mix task that simply tells you what's available in a project at a given point in time?
This article nolanlawson.com/2026/02/07/w... articulates exactly how I feel.

It is EXHAUSTING not only being made responsible for coming up with new kinds of assignments for our students; it's also tedious reading op-eds that suggest the core problem is a crisis in teaching. But, as Chris and I lay out here, this isn't a crisis in teaching; it's an attack on learning.

This year in music has been really in line with my general taste, with very few excursions to other genres - suppose it's a form of comfort!
I've been researching and playing with Event Sourcing and related patterns for years now, but it's an expensive hobby. If anyone's interested in (paid) introductions to the patterns and ideas, or workshops on the matter, hit me up! I honestly believe understanding it can provide a lot of value.
Even if now that I think about it, he doesn't have fingers to snap, or even an arm to put the gauntlet on. Maybe that's why he looks upset.

Another good find in a charity store for a mere 3 pounds.
@burningshed.com I’m trying to find out information about a uk prog band I heard on radio, it’s called Axiom Shift. Both music and what I could find (little) makes me think it’s an AI experiment, but I was wondering if you had more info?
@burningshed.com thank you for the early delivery! Really looked forward to Lunatic Soul’s latest effort.
Charity shop find of the day - have never listened to it but I’ve never been disappointed by Peter Gabriel.
