Been tracking Mega Man's history in the Nintendo Power Top 30. 3 & 4 managed to reach 2nd Place, but couldn't dethrone Super Mario Bros. 3. 5 only reached 3rd place, losing to Mario 3 & Zelda. Mega Man 6 reached 2nd, finally passing Mario 3, but still losing 1st Place to Zelda. Still, very popular!

Checked new games this weekend. Saw Volcano Princess. A daughter raising sim game, I like the strategy element of those, tickles my brain, good stuff. ANYHOO, could've gotten it on Playstation. But after kneecapping physical releases, VP is the first of many, where I take my money to Nintendo.

I still think about the fact that according to PSN Profiles, the rarest trophies I own are all from Mighty No. 9. So many people played it, but most couldn't be bothered to attempt completion.

Lovin' the look of Persona 4 Revival. The character portraits, the framing, the characters are so expressive and intense. It looks better than P3 Reload.

Tubi, Pluto etc. have replaced Netflix because they're better places to find films & television from decade's past. It also helps that in this economy, THEY'RE FREE. The only reason to use Netflix right now are the exclusive shows, & you keep cancelling them so why should people stick with it?

TV writers were right in 2023 and are being proven more right every day — there was a stable television model that made everyone lots of money and put out good shows. Then execs with no understanding of the industry confused the production model and the distribution model, and they blew it all up.

Thing is, I'm not really worried for myself if gaming has a crash. If the industry just falls apart, I've got decades of games to go back to, replay, make videos about, I could do so forever. I'll be fine. It's the devs, retailers & everyone else whose liveliness depends on it that I feel bad for.
