The annual Take a Bow in the park was another great success, so much for all the family to do and a fantastic amount of local talent on the stage too. Thanks to everyone involved!

From litter picking in Hurlford, visiting the Kinship Carers fundraising coffee morning at Centrestage, to visiting the Farmers Market at Kilmarnock Cross, it has been a great springtime sunny Saturday across the communities of Kilmarnock East & Hurlford.
Those who sow chaos and disinformation to disrupt others should remember: the forces they unleash have no loyalty, and one day, will turn on them. That day was today.

A busy day in ward 4 today, a wonderful Community Christmas Lunch at Take a Bow then on to the Kilmarnock Kinship Carers Christmas Party where I gave Santa a bit of a help out given he’s so busy at the moment!
A great night last night at Townholm Bowling Club for their Christmas party night, with a guest appearance by Santa himself! Great to see the club so busy and with everyone enjoying the festivities! 🎅🎄🎁🍻🍾

Rest in peace my dear friend & colleague Councillor Maureen McKay, a passionate defender of the communities she was so proud to represent in Kilmarnock North. Maureen’s sense of style, her determination, intellect & kindness made her one of the most formidable politicians I’ve ever known.
Great to spend time with some of the committee of Hurlford Bowling Club in my ward, we talked about the great facilities they have and funding for improvements & energy costs. Thanks to Jan, Jacqueline, Ian, Sheila & Jim for showing me around today and thanks for the cuppa and cake too!
