Bsky is not a place I’ve found welcoming for any of my interests, tbh. People are siloing art into camps, invites have been given to people who are deeply flawed and purposefully setting out to be hateful. I’m not here for it. Being free to be lewd is not enough to sustain social interaction 🕳
It’s important to understand that being a marginalized person doesn’t automatically confer intersectionality or compassion/sensitivity to the experiences of other folx at other margins. Check your own isms - only by understanding your self can you begin to understand others. Be kind.

I’ve been in the studio working on an abstraction - needed a mindset shift away from figuration for a minute to loosen up my thinking - figuration is intense in a different way. I do both in addition to GAN.
