Calling my partner "Mommy" is all well and good but calling her "Mom" and "Mother" hits so much harder 😵💫 She also makes a point to correct me when I call my biological mom "my mom", and reminds me she's just her predecessor who did a terrible job, and now my REAL mom (her) is here to fix things.
