"I believe our kids have a right to our tax dollars" is the hardest hitting line I've heard in a long time and I would crawl over people to vote for someone who says this.

a lot has been made of a party "civil war" or whatever but thats not really whats happening; there are not two roughly equally large sections of the party battling for ideological control. its a vast majority of democrats vs money and its strongest foot soldiers in the media
instead of reporting % of counted vote each candidate has, elections should be reported as what % of the total vote count each candidate has, which would result with the same end point but would avoid encouraging media depictions of wild swings in what was always a static but unknown distribution
The media's takeaway from an El-Sayed win is the same as it would have been from a Stevens win, and the same as it will be if El-Sayed wins the general, or if he loses it: everyone, no matter who they are, needs to take several steps to the right.

Got a good job down at the Data Center. I work on the line, and it's hard work but it's honest and the wage is fair; my family and I are grateful for it. I rivet the word "absolutely" onto the little apologies that chatbots do when they misunderstand a prompt.
