What doesn’t seem to be on the table: it’s obvious the existing scheme of having the urban core pay for suburban sprawl, and have new home owners and renters pay more taxes than long-time home owners isn’t working. But they will try literally anything but fixing that

How about instead of eliminating Sunday and Holiday busses, council eliminates Sunday and Holiday plowing? Oh, people have places to go on Sundays, too? You don’t say… Yes I’m writing my councillor, but this is such a backwards suggestion that I’m annoyed I need to waste my time on it
