I just spent hours figuring out why my server is unreachable on ipv6 as soon as forwarding is enabled.. gateway fe80::1 -> gateway fd80::1 One typo in the gateway address. That's today's xnopyt.

Currently experimenting with #Resonite Link with an architecture where you connect a website to your game and the website forwards the connection to a backend through another WebSocket. This way, I don't need to use JavaScript and can use the official library.

Just ran into another case of artists being exclusively available on Twitter/X. I will not make an account on that platform and give away my personal data just to commission you.

I think the hardest part about 3D modelling is not the modelling but the textures. It took me two hours to generate the mushroom lamellae with #Blender3D geometry nodes (never done this before). But textures? I don't even know where to start. Cartoon style would be easy, but I'm going for realism.

I was looking for references for a project and found Anton Kurbatov, an artist who primarily draws landscapes of giant (glowing) mushrooms. It looks very cool! Also totally not biased because of the tabby slimes! Links to the originals are in the alt-text.

taking a break from furality to do #resonite things like existing in resonite and vrchat simultaneously, watching myself from the safety of resonite, through the eyes of a fish-shaped vrchat client (built in resonite), as i get aggressively whipped around atop a pillar of springy ferrets in vrchat

first person view of a purple lumistera hanging out with a purple dromeowyrm and a few other creatures inside a grassy wooden room, watching a screen of a first person vrchat view of that same purple lumistera sitting atop a tower of ferrets. some simple vrchat navigation controls are visible beneath it
