Recent films have put more emphasis on villains being more misunderstood than just "bad guys," but the general public keeps painting everything in black and white, with little understanding of nuance. Is there a correlation or am I just trying to find links where there are none?

“Just Use Your Imagination” - Eeyore. A quick sketchbook drawing of Eeyore and Piglet in that beautiful moment from The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. In memory of Peter Cullen.
As if the Super Mario Bros 3 Happy Meal from 1990 wasn't already legendary enough - one of the other concepts McDonald's considered was this Mad Ball-style King Koopa "Fireball Blaster." This would've been one of the greatest Happy Meal toys of all time if produced.
The hype for #CoyoteVsAcme is definitely real. Worth seeing in theaters!

RIP Nick Glennie-Smith. Here's a delightful under the radar piece he wrote for the German film "Laura's Star." (Despite Zimmer in the video's title, I believe music featured is all Glennie-Smith) youtu.be/CxFinY6aGYY?...

The Camp Snoopy Glasses were the first time (of many) that the Peanuts and McDonald's teamed up. These were also practically guaranteed to be collecting dust in most cupboards across the country for decades to come. (1983)

Concept art for #TheBraveLittleToaster. This appears to be an earlier version of the movie that helmed closer to the book. The book features a scene where Toaster rallies the crew in the junkyard to save the Radio, who's been taken by the junkman. (1/2)
That shadowy place way out there? That is beyond our borders. You must never go there. That is the Big Boy graveyard.
Just saw this short yesterday and I'm already obsessed. It's the second #LauraAndRalph short, and I'm hoping Mike Carf makes more in the future! youtu.be/I10h0n3pJsE?...

According to this concept art, the sight of the most traumatic moment in #TheLionKing is the Oldavi Gorge, meaning the movie takes place in Tanzania. It could also mean that it was merely inspired by the Oldavi Gorge, but it's interesting either way.
Model sheet for "Appropriately Humiliated Sultan" (love that name) from #Aladdin. I don't believe he holds the little jester's staff in the final movie.
Concept art for door gags in #TheHauntedMansion, possibly meant for the Corridor of Doors. Of interest is an appearance by the Beating Heart Bride.
Unidentified woman flying in a Rocket Jet with Goofy while King Louie and Brer Bear (playing a banjo and sitting on a bike) watch from below. Sure, why not.
Do androids dream of electric sheep? Still not sure, but we do know that toasters dream of wonder bread in this great Joe Ranft concept art for #TheBraveLittleToaster! (They also dream of clowns, but that's another story.)
