Yesterday, Russia’s Supreme Court upheld a decision to bar the only Russian political party opposing the invasion of Ukraine from next month’s parliamentary elections. At least 55 protesters have been arrested for exercising the most basic right in any democracy, the right to peacefully protest.

People don’t understand, but being outwardly patriotic was NEVER a Canadian trait. We didn’t need to say anything. We just did our thing. But when so sovereignty began getting mocked and threatened by the USA, the flags came out. We were CANADIAN. I kind of hate it. But it needs to happen.
