Just tried out Dark Machine: The Animation and...😑🚮 It's bad enough it starts with a chase scene with no established stakes and an opening song (I will die on the hill that anime that start with their OP song at the beginning of episode 1 are 99% shit), but then the game everyone is crazy about...

Jaadugar's commitment to depicting cultures with care means not only animating their material aspects, but also attempting to capture their beliefs. Kotaro Matsunaga, who'd already overseen the stunning ceremony in episode #06, was a perfect choice to direct/board the highly spiritual ninth episode

📚Manga Review ~ Kuroki Kemono to Yoru no Hana (The Black Beast and the Night Flower) by Zāru Maruta BL: Romance, Yakuza🌶️🌶️ I really liked this manga. Yes, the story is pretty simple and the climax is barely sparkler BUT!! The art!!!

The Cover of Kuroki Kemono to Yoru no Hana (The Black Beast and the Night Flower) – a manga by Zāru Maruta. On the cover, Shiga Azuma, wearing a black suit stands over Anji Haruki who is seated and smiling as he touches Shiga's cheek. Shiga has a blood stained hand and his face is stained with blood. Anji is wearing an apron. In the background are books. In the foreground are many white flowers. The Kuroki Kemono to yoru no Hana cover with the summary plastered over it: Shiga Azuma, a promising young leader of an underground organization, stops to buy flowers for his father's grave from the flower shop of the blind Anji Haruki. And he keeps coming back, drawn to Haruki's inner light and comforting presence - the complete opposite of his world. But their relationship unearths darkness, obsession and secrets on both sides, and threatens to destroy them both. - Anime Planet

Manga Review - Ao ni Hatsukoi BL - Romance - Cop(aganda) - Slice of Life ✨✨✨ This manga is basically just ok. The art is ok, the copaganda isn't too offensive (although it's alive and well), and there's no real plot. My real gripe with it is how the romance doesn't make sense.

Cover of Ao ni Hatsukoi: Shiomi gazing down at his senior officer, Chief Sano. They are both in their police uniforms and Sano pushes a bicycle. Sakura blossoms are blurred in a background of a bright blue sky.Bild

Shouko Nakamura's appearances have been sporadic for years, but all it took was another great BL series to get her back on track. Perfect representation of Nakamura-kun's adaptation angle, taking ideas from the charming yet disconnected comic and imbuing the whole thing with much more pathos
