I don't have the right equipment for eclipse photography and I had work to do last night, so I didn't set out to make a photo time series and I didn't keep standard camera settings (and used two cameras) But then I got chatting with neighbors and sat out there the whole time anyway, so...

Compilation of 16 photos of the moon from the eclipse on the night of 27 August 2026 and the morning of 28 August 2026, as seen from Columbus Ohio. The top and bottom rows show photos taken with faster shutter speeds, so the detailed section of the photo is the bright part of the moon, not covered by the earth's shadow. The top row shows the moon before the eclipse, then getting progressively more covered as the shadow moves across the moon from the lower left. The bottom row shows a tiny sliver of lit moon, mostly covered by shadow, then the moon becoming progressively brighter again as the shadow moves across the surface. The inner two rows are the peak of the partial eclipse, with the camera set to record more light, so the details are fuzzier and but the moon takes on reddish and orange hues where it is covered by the earth's shadow. The tiny sliver that is not covered slowly moves from the upper right of the moon to the upper left of the moon as the earth's shadow moves across.

De certa forma, foi uma oportunidade de falar algumas coisas que andavam entaladas. Me perturba demais como a ideologia ao redor da IA está sendo tratada como se fosse ciência, como fosse fruto de pesquisa séria. Espaços usando o termo "soberania digital" nem nem qualificar o que querem dizer...
