a so-called expert is only as wise as their best layman's explanation of a complex subject is intelligible to the common man. i cannot stress this concept enough when talking to aspiring writers / speakers who seem to refuse to "dumb things down" for a broader audience.

I've gotta give a hard agree on Trespasser. It's a janky, overambitious, truly compelling adventure -- simultaneously archaic while also paradoxically being years ahead of its time. It's one of the first games we had in mind when establishing @bghof.com, and long overdue for an on-stream revisit.

Not every developer / company from your childhood deserves to mount a comeback. You don't need to buy every tchotchke product they dish out in the pitiful hope that it'll lead to them making "something new" (or re-releasing your personal favorite). Sometimes, dead is better.

love tossing a bunch of colorful produce into a pressure cooker and watching as it turns into a flavorful brown slop. (we forgot to put onion and potato in before taking the first photo / starting cooking, so we had to depressurize the pot and add it in halfway through lol)
