First clip I’ve seen where it’s clear HE is the one imposing an Israel position on US. I never agreed to support any country unconditionally regardless of their crimes and whether they hold up their end of the relationship, yet that is what Fetterman tries to require of Democrats on Israel.

Jon is joined by U.S. Senator John Fetterman @fetterman.senate.gov for discussion on the Democratic Party, Israel, and the issues that continue to shape his politics. New podcast out tomorrow!

Remember Fetterman and a few senators could have required, as a condition for ICE funding, a stricter policy against shooting people. They could’ve required special counsel to investigate Renee Good’s murder. Instead they showered ICE with cash, and now they act like all this is unexpected.

Fantastic footnote in Minnesota judge’s landmark decision rejecting grand jury subpoenas when he notes Blanche accused Governor Walz of terrorism based on a report that agents FABRICATED about being attacked. Guessing Blanche has not apologized.

Fetterman’s first public comments are about what’s good for Netanyahu, nothing on the serious economic pain Pennsylvanians have been through, which is totally unresolved by this “deal.”

This is one of the House races that will have an outsized impact on the pursuit of justice and accountability in the next two years. Was great to see Democrats focused, united, and packing a room so early in the summer.

In the Orwellian world of TikTok they have taken down another one of my videos and refused to allow me to appeal. Presumably for the same reason Trump is blocking the satellites I discuss in this video!

We’re at the point with data centers that yesterday a Pennsylvania virtual town hall got 700 people with minimal advertising and a *Republican* legislator walked the crowd through the need for a moratorium.

It’s pretty cool we have people in “red” areas who set things aside in their lives to run write-in campaigns to make sure Republicans don’t go unopposed. Here is one, my new friend Sue Mulvey, who is doing this in Crawford County. I’ve seen it other places too. They refuse to be counted out.

He is the loudest voice for the worst decision in a generation (Iran). His options are a pile of cash or the brutal honesty and accountability of a long hard primary. Gee, I wonder which he chooses.

COLUMN: The political environment is curdling for Republicans, and the quiet campaign to lure Sen. Fetterman across the aisle is underway, writes our political columnist Jonathan Martin. But the first-term Dem isn’t yet persuaded.

Re Voting Rights Act and Republican gerrymandering: “I think you have to step back and remember, what are they doing here? They are trying to keep a majority of congressional seats with a minority of public support….It’s not how democracy is supposed to work.”

Gave me chills to look at this again after the voting rights decision. In 2021 I was starting to speak in churches and asked a colleague who was a pastor and had been in SCLC for help. He was generous enough to write this for me on the House floor. If you see this @cleaver.house.gov thank you.

Since Hegseth was asking for $1.5 trillion from Congress today — keep in mind much of that goes to contractors not the troops — here’s a chart showing how unbalanced that would make us. The only thing even close to defense is debt service.
