It's shameful that the "land of the free & the home of the brave" would allow the suffering of over 8B people to protect men who have treated children as dolls. The people who have had access to these files, videos,& photos & have not released the world from the terrorists are morally bankrupt.
It you have ever said: "She's well-spoken, for a black woman." Explained standard concepts to women - that you wouldn't take the time to explain to a man - that's mansplaining. If you feel the need to say "you're the smartest woman I know" ...you're misogyny is showing (and racism). Fix it.
I am having a difficult time continuing to live in a society that openly bombs schools and critical infrastructure. A government that lies about the number of its own citizens it's sacrificed to protect pedophiles. A government that kills innocent children to protect murderers and rapists.
Which is why when he came down that escalator Othering people from the southern border, everyone should have been shaken to their core - because this is what he meant.

Scott Pelley gave an impassioned speech a year ago that’s worth watching today. Kudos to him and other 60 Minutes correspondents and staff for defending the media and our democracy.
There is no moral equivalence between bullies and the bullied, between tyranny and democracy, or between brutality and decency. No individual can be free in a society devoid of justice. There can be no liberty where brutality reigns.

Brutality is Brutality. Why do we accept it from any un/official body? ICE thugs and police thugs are the same. No brutality is acceptable.

Renaming the Kennedy centre to include Trumps name is an act that no American would ever have agreed to in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 00s, 10s. That a corrupt body appointed by Trump to flatter his ego could agree to vandalising a memorial to a much greater president insults decades of Americans.
