America’s richest tenth owns nearly 27 times the wealth of the bottom half. Tax cuts, unequal recoveries, and public debt built the divide and shape who feels secure now.

More from debate camp. My late son Matthew‘s favorite number, for reasons unknown, is 117. We created a 117 Society for all who had done debate camp for at least three years. Some for a decade! Many have returned to be part of our faculty. Over 60! Here they are.

It’s easy to feel a sense of despair and hopelessness about our nation these days. But look at these judges marching carrying roses, standing up for the rule of law. It’s hard not to feel inspired and hopeful. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

This is so powerful. Inspired by the March of a Thousand Robes in Poland, retired and sitting judges in the United States walked down the streets of Columbus, Ohio to stand up for the Rule of Law. #JusticeinMotion

“It was about deputizing the foot soldiers who will be asked to deny the 2026 results if their side loses in November.” Our own @alexandrachandler.bsky.social, a former military intel officer, told @davidgilbert.bsky.social that Trump's speech wasn't the nat sec revelation it was staged to be.

Election deniers have spent years promoting the idea that the 2020 election was stolen. They believe Donald Trump’s speech finally proves them right. www.wired.com/story/conspi...

Look as long as he’s reminding people about the 2020 election, I think the perfect pivot is to talk about January 6. Unlike his conspiracy theory nonsense, we all saw that happen in front of our eyes.

It’s worth saying this every now and again and particularly before moments like tonight. Anyone of our fellow citizens can stop supporting Trump at any time. Any administration official can resign at any time. There’s always a way back. Redemption is always on the table.
