I need a good to-do list app that I can use on my work laptop (PC) — anyone have one they love/like/would recommend? It doesn’t need to be overly complicated; I mostly just need to be able to organize by task type (color coding ideal!). I hate the one connected to Outlook.

Sociologists! I am teaching my Gender and Families senior seminar again this fall and would like 1-2 new-ish books to add into the rotation for my book group assignment. Have you read (or written) such a book lately that you’d like to recommend?

I’m not a mom, but I am a scholar of, among other things, mothering/motherhood in the United States. Mothering is hard work, and our society certainly makes it harder. Sending love to those who mother today. Imagining a collective future where the work of nurturing and care is valued and supported!
