"We're fighting wars that we started for ABSOLUTELY no reason" Fixed it.
He doesn’t care if he loses the election because he plans to steal it if he can. He can’t! We won’t let him.
Missing three points: 1. Other countries pay higher taxes while working which means there's more money to around pensioners. 2. Pension populations vary from country-to-country 3. The State Pension isn't means tested which means people who will never need it, still get it. Ideological idiocy
Two million pensioners live in poverty. We spend less on pensions than other rich countries. Yes, we desperately need a National Care Service. Don't make today's workers poorer in their old age to pay for it!

I think this is wrong. Genocide happens between two sets of people. Israel don't see Palestine as a people - nor a state. To them, they are vermin. This isn't a genocide to Israel, it's extermination.
You can see the genocide from space. Yet still it is widely denied.

Finally, a member of this adminsitration that tells the truth.
More people need to hear this. I certainly did.
OK now I'm back at work I want to talk about GB Grid. I think the govt did the best it could at communicating this announcement but it's quite technical and you need to understand the energy system to fully get it, so it's almost impossible to sum up in a soundbite. Let me explain as far as I can:
"Oh it's not what Europe wants" Hmm, where are those voices now? We WANT to come back too! Do it Andy, fuck the naysayers. It's not the "Will of the people" when: A: We were lied to B: A lot of people who voted for it are dead C: WE WERE LIED TO
"Welcome back - if the British want to come back it's very good news!" 🇫🇷 "Spain would welcome it with open arms and once again embrace our friends in Britain.” 🇪🇸
This coming from: A: The party who caused this issue B: The advisor to the former Home Secretary who said that "Fewer police officers on the street won't result in more crime" is BEYOND satire.
Not sure how the triple lock change will ultimately play politically. But trapping the Tories and Reform into defending a policy literally none of them support in private is potentially a neat move.
So Trump says "I don't regulation because I'll use my own moral compass to regulate SI (sic)" Erm. ESRB anyone?
Okay, Burnham needs to move fast on this. If he stands and waits, he'll lose the election but if we have two-three years of the policy WORKING then he could be elected in a historic landslide I changed my mind. He needs to not stall. He needs to "break" Keir Harmers pledges.
When we say "Thatcher ruined the country" There isn't enough paper on the planet to detail the destruction and the legacy of her campaign. It all boils down to that old witch. Maybe we can finally close the lid on 40 years of despair and making-do Maybe. Maybe we can hope again?
There wasn't a social care crisis when local authorities provided the service free of charge. Then Thatcher privatised it and private equity bosses started charging £8000 a month.
To the people complaining these sex abuse cases have created a world where men now have to think 10 times before they touch a woman. Yes, that's the point. It's called consent. Welcome to human decency.
Hey pensioners, my UC and Disabled Income is 13992 I pay my own rent Own council tax Own energy bills for my own glasses/dental My after bills income? £200 a month. Go complain somewhere else. I don't get concessions ANYWHERE. Don't hear me complaining. #LabourPartyConference

Burnham "By the next parliament" Electorate: Why NOT NOW, why all the promises? DO STUFF! Burnham "I'll break manifesto pledges to get this done" Electorate: "You can't be trusted, all you do is lie and break promises! You don't have a mandate! General Election now! can he EVER win?
The population can longer be the prisoners of the pensioner populace. Everything can be brought back to parties being in-hock to pensioners and it is about time someone had the guts to cut the tie. They caused Brexit then demonised the youth whose futures they inadvertently ruined. Enough.
These anonymous MPs saying it's 'electoral suicide' to tinker with the triple lock. Exactly the type who got us into this mess: unwilling to lead, unwilling to recognise reality for fear of offending voters, unwilling to solve long-term problems if it presents the slightest short-term risk.
Electoral Reform Welfare Reform Reinvesting in defence Pension Triple-Lock abolishment Safeguarding and investing in AI Controller but understanding migration policies - safe routes Holy hell. Am I gonna be voting Labour?
Best Labour conference we've ever had and of course the mouthpieces and the Never-Labours now call in to places like @lbc.co.uk Really wouldn't wanna be @shelaghfogarty.bsky.social right now.
How nice it was to see a real human in this Prime Minister. No robotic speeches. No empty sound-bites. No toxic masculinity (can you remember the last time we saw a world leader cry?) Everything we were promised. We got. Roll on the next few years. Socialism is BACK in the Labour Party
Of course Corbyn is taking this opportunity to remind us that he is still alive. The triple-lock is fundamentally unfair, unworkable and idiotic. It came in, it completed a job, it needs to go. Preferably so does Corbyn.
@mrjamesob.bsky.social I think it boils down to despair I have a friend who is 34 and he spends most of his day on his phone. Doomscrolling and watching nonsense I asked him why and he said "Why would I want to look away from my phone when the world is so horrible?" It's not just young people
James Max repeating lies on @LBC about "oh if you have a tax on wealth they'll just leave" Proven wrong 1000 times. "If we tax high earners they'll leave" - a wealth tax isn't a tax on earnings...it's a tax on assets. Yet. Another. Capitalist. Mouth-piece.
