Just came to my mind that the sentence “ma tua nonna is a quesadilla!” was said last friday at Rubycon and I was there to hear it. This is the content I paid the ticket for, highly recommended, 11/10 would attend again. @rubyconitaly.bsky.social
Amazing to see that #rubycon2026 officially ended two days ago and people are still hanging out together on Discord and visiting Bologna and Venice. This is such a great attitude! (photos are from yesterday's tour of Rimini)
Github amazing uptime is reflected in our integrations as well. I guess I'll stop tracking those.
We asked ticket holders: why are you coming to Rubycon? Their answers are in the image. Quotes from: Roy, Artis and Nabeelah. #Rubycon2026 #Ruby

#rubycon2026 is going to be A M A Z I N G. With a single ticket you will get: * 8 amazing talks 🗣️ * plenty of Italian food 🍝 * a memorable evening party on the beach 🏖️ I'd love if this becomes a fixed, yearly, spring event for all rubyists! ti.to/rubycon/ruby... @rubyconitaly #ruby #rubyonrails
On one side I am very annoyed that my 2012 perfectly working kindle will apparently stop working, on the other I am very attracted by buying a new Kindle since they last so long! I will most probably just jailbreak it and keep using it.
Code by day, Toga Party by night. At Rubycon, we’re celebrating in pure Ruby style: clean, and elegant. What you’ll need: 1 bedsheet, 3 safety pins, 1 rope. Here’s the guide to “compiling” your toga in seconds. Rimini, May 8th. #Ruby #Rubycon2026
I am particularly proud of the lineup of speakers for @rubyconitaly.bsky.social . We evaluated about 50 CFP, and after an evaluation round with the team, I personally chose all the speakers. The final lineup is amazing! These were my criteria:
We have finally published the full agenda for Rubycon 2026: rubycon.it/schedule/ Take a sneak peek at the schedule—we are so proud of the lineup we put together! Also, let us know if you enjoy the format we chose! #Rubycon #AleaIactaREST
Everyone is using Claude Code to tackle daily, coding tasks, but I recently used it to help me deal with a rare disease. I was incredibly surprised by how useful it was, and I think is important to share this experience. coorasse.com/blog/how-ai-...
How AI helped me prepare for my son’s rare disease diagnosis
When my four-year-old was diagnosed with Coats disease, AI didn’t replace the doctors — but it made me a much better prepared parent.

I am very happy to have @deploio.bsky.social on board. At Renuo, this year, we finally brought all our customers back to 🇨🇭. If you are looking for a solid Heroku alternative, based in Europe, Switzerland, deploio is a great choice!
Everyone, say "hi" to our new sponsor: Deploio! Deploio is a Swiss Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) designed to simplify the deployment and management of web applications. It transforms git repositories into applications, go check them out! #Rubycon2026 #AleaIactaREST
With Rails 8.1 we got markdown format, but rails serves html to Claude Code, because it sends the following: "Accept: text/markdown, text/html, */*" I "patched" it with the snippet below. Risky? Evil? #rubyonrails
Introducing: Ludovico Besana! Ludovico, born as a Full Stack Developer, discovered his true passion for quality later in his career. With a background in Full Stack Development, he possessed a strong technical foundation and a deep understanding of software systems. #Rubycon2026 #AleaIactaREST

Marco's talk at RailsWorld 2025 was incredible. I am very honored to have him as the second speaker at rubycon. He is the perfect match for the high quality, deep, technical ruby conference I have in mind for next year! Thank you @marcoroth.dev for joining us!

I wrote about what I call "live tests". An example on how we run automated tests on the *live* environment after deployment in Ruby on Rails. This can be particularly useful in some contexts. Enjoy! coorasse.com/blog/live-te... #rubyonrails

I think turbo will slowly become obsolete and the main features will be implemented directly by the browsers. 🤞
Why is September always like that? 😭 I'd like to attend all of them, but I'd find the home door locked when I come back 🤣
There's nothing that replaces a good night at the cinema. You can have the best TV setup at home, but it will never be the same. A nice, small cinema in the city center, so you can admire and enjoy the beauty of an old town as well.
Jekyll is so easy! It's probably where I'll land after the dev.to experience
Is there a software I can send my logs to, where I can do two things: stream and search? I feel a lot of software does much much more than that
