Toot Games knew exactly what they were doing, and I'm here for it, I'm here for it ALLLLLLL
“What was your biggest impact on the internet?” Tangentially related to Shariq's post in it being Wind Waker related: I asked Miyamoto what was cut from the game, revealing that a dungeon was dropped. The story turned into years of painful discussion about Wind Waker being rushed / uneven. Blargh.
“What was your biggest impact on the internet?” I once wrote a Zelda remix so beloved and so popular that people misremembered it as an actual OST track. Some guys did a club mix of my remix and didn’t credit me, and they didn’t believe me until I showed them a video of the track in FLStudio.

I’m raising funds to get an electric attachment for my wheelchair, so I can be more independant, and get out the house on my own.

Totally forgot I was part of this because time has no meaning in 2026, but had a wonderful evening alongside the brilliant @hollynielsen.bsky.social, @cashdecuir.bsky.social & @flom.bsky.social for the @writersguildgb.bsky.social panel on editing videogames - you can watch the whole thing below 👇🏿
Game narrative people - if you couldn't make it to the @writersguildgb.bsky.social panel on editing videogames, it's now available online! It was a delight to host @coreybrotherson.bsky.social , @hollynielsen.bsky.social and @cashdecuir.bsky.social 📚 Watch here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZet...
My Albion supporting friend recently said in our group chat that we Villa supporters shouldn't be getting ahead of ourselves given who we've beat so far. After today? I say: Nah. Let's get very much ahead of ourselves, thank you very much 🏆 #UTV
#AVFC claim their first home league win of the season against Man City, beating the league leaders 2-1 to end their perfect start. Nicolas Jackson scored either side of Erling Haaland's equaliser - two of the best strikers in the league. Top from Villa.
My next two events, both next week - a screening of Age of Quorum in Birmingham, and the Games Transformed Festival 2026 in London for a panel on colonialism's influence on video games: www.patreon.com/CoreyBrother...

Randomly reminded of when Black Mirror's Black Museum episode came out, a number of reviews totally missed or ignored the exploration of Black pain and its exploitation for entertainment, in favour of "oh, it's the self-referential episode, look at the Easter Eggs, hahaha! Bit pointless, though."
Pondering how to finance a couple of comic book projects (an existing series and a starting one-shot that would lead to something bigger) without going bust and/or insane

Very grateful to have a story (co-created with videogames/comics superstar @kim-hu.com) in this massive anthology! It was a dream to write, and being able to work alongside Anderson Entertainment was great fun. Honoured to be part of the project and looking forward to saying more about it soon...

So, Digger. I can absolutely see why so many critics hated it, and much of that is a crossover from why some hated Don't Look Up or Birdman. It's pretentious and all too self-aware, and stops the film to point fingers. It's also one of the most interesting and enjoyable movies I've seen all year.
Myself and @leahmoore.bsky.social interviewed in the Liverpool Echo ahead of our Albion signing this weekend. Bonus points for the clickbait headline. www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpo...

Anyway. Today I'm going to fight off the lack of sleep earned by a kitten who spent half of last night hellbent on pushing things off my bedside table, and then get ready to go to the Bristol screening / Q&A of the film I helped make. Come and see my red eyes tomorrow!
Seriously, even if I go back to full-time employment, I'm still never, EVER going to change my visible 'company' on LinkedIn. The 'NDA Voight-Kampff machine' remains undefeated.
Holy shit, they can't even get remote-piloted robots to not totally flip out when just serving drinks, does anyone really expect the bigot car to not just flat out explode before a single booster activates?
"Flying cars are real!" 🚀 Elon Musk and Tesla showcase the new Roadster.
Huh. Looks like I might have to switch my Society of Authors membership money over to a full Writer's Guild membership after all.
Damn, Choose Your Own Adventure books got super topical of late
After a great year of film festival touring, our short thriller Age of Quorum is heading back to where it all started - this Saturday, Bristol's Artspace will host a special screening, followed by a Q&A with our writer/director Yomi Ayeni and myself (assistant producer). Come along and heckle us!
If there's an easy way to lose my trust as a customer BEFORE I've even become a customer, it's to have a misleading opt-out marketing button (you can get deals from YouFibre without opting in, but they make it appear otherwise), and then ignoring said opt-out by calling me *EVERY WORKING DAY* since

This week has been lining me up for a nice, comforting hug, and then today it just spun me around and Cantona kicked me right in the face instead, holy shit, man. And yet, I can still sigh and say, "well, I guess at least I'm not Manchester City right now"
