Somebody asked me on Reddit why people who use AI to generate Recomp projects are currently being rejected from the communities and what they can do to fix this. I might tweak parts of this to be a more general blog post at some point, but this should be of help to anyone in a similar situation.

the post office uses an ai-based system to pick the harmon codes for what's in my package so it's actually pointless for me to sift through them, but I do it anyway just in case. the ones they end up with are always different from mine 🤷

btw if you've never had the displeasure of looking through harmonization codes, it's all about sifting through a whole lot of these to find the thing that you think describes what you're sending

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.
