Look look! My last commission for this round is complete. Goblin turned wolfie. This one was a little challenging to paint just because I didn’t want them to get drowned out by their black fur. But I was able to get the shading and highlights in! What do ya’ll think?? :D #dnd #dndart #ttrpgart

This is a big part of what drew me to publishing paper minis. Each little guy is a “micro-project” that I can easily finish. I didn’t really spend time developing a style, I just started making the things. My style has definitely drifted in a decade, but I have learned a LOT over that time.

I think the greatest trick for getting good at creative work i know is - finish making as many mediocre things as possible. Just finish stuff, again and again. Share it or don’t, but put a bow on it, put it aside, make the next thing, repeat.
