Two things I’m terrible at drawing are mammals and chains. Of course just about EVERY encounter in Draw Steel’s “The Red Road” is with some kind of horrible mammal swinging a chain. Dear MCDM, please make your next adventure about reptiles that don’t have access to metal.

Gotta be very careful how you phrase things so you don't get scrutinized and torn apart here on bluesky, the website nobody in the real world has ever heard of.

Soooo, I was kicking around the idea of challenging myself to only release Draw Steel inspired minis in 2027, then I saw Dark Sun was coming out and I had a lot of fun with their creature selection from the Spelljammer book 😅 (Doomspace was totally Athas and you cannot convince me otherwise!)

Happy birthday to the TTRPG where my guy was swallowed by some kind of coffin monster, drank a growth potion, burst the coffin monster then killed five skeletons with one hit.

My Wednesday game group asked me to run Draw Steel’s “The Red Road” I’m gonna’ need to design and print a LOT more gnoll minis 😅
I’ve recently started adding the monster’s AC to the player-facing side of the initiative tent. I run a lot of combats per-session and this streamlines things a bit.
Super behind this month (Vacation and GO Fest ate up most of my free time) so patrons are getting more Swarm Tiles. Sorry!
I didn’t have Demogorgon cultists, but adding some accessories to a chaos-cult miniboss worked just fine. I like their silly masks.
I loved this adventure! Ran it for coworkers at LAIKA. The short, episodic chapters were perfect for 2 hour, after work sessions. Even the companion soundtrack was fantastic for introducing certain chapters & NPCs! It’s a real shame spaceship rules were either nonexistent, bland or clunky.

To give some perspective: on Missing Link there was one horse puppet that had everyone racking their brains to figure out, took MONTHS. This movie has four and they’re not even the craziest puppets in the movie Anyway, good pony here

The Odyssey is so funny, everyone has prescription drug-sounding names, like Telemachus and Clytemnestra, and then there’s a lady just named Helen.
