I made the dictation app *I* wanted. My daughter did the video voice over. tonguetype.app It hasn't got much attention because dictation has been pretty bad historically, but I don't think most people realize how good local models are now. Low downloads, but the app has a great conversion rate.

My Stance on AI in Software Development

AI is a capable assistant that helps us move faster, but every project remains driven by human ideas, architecture, verification, and review.

Math has a provable answer. Code either works or it doesn’t. No matter how smart AI gets, there’s never a guaranteed solution. AI is a black box where you pray something useful comes out but, the more you tell it, the more it inevitably gets wrong. 😩
