1/2 There's something so unconservative about Badenoch. The the fact that councilors control so little is *not* the point. Councilors, like local magistrates & GPs, are meant to be pillars of the community, role models & advocates. The fact that she doesn't think that's important says everything.

1/2 The evacuation of British forces from Dunkirk took place between 26 May-4 June 1940. According to Gerald Gardner, on Lammas Eve that same year, his New Forest Coven met (in a woodland north of Hycliffe), to perform a "cone of power" ritual to prevent Hitler’s forces from invading Britain.

It is my sense that while we can know where Christ is (in the gathered Meeting, in the words of Scripture) but we can't say where God isn't. Evidently many have participated in the Logos without either. Some early Quakers like Robert Barclay thought Socrates was such a follower of the Inward Light.
