Deeply disappointed at the comments on my Ken Jennings video. People would rather have empathy for a cis person than the trans person mocked. Yeah it’s the trans persons fault for lightly pointing out to a cis person the New York Times is bad actually to trans person. She’s making it about herself.

"There's no issue I care about more" is giving Trump's "I'm the least racist person ever." Still blocking every trans person pointing out your "joke" after being called out for supporting the openly transphobic New York Times? Best way to show support: block the people you say you care about.

Ken Jennings post, reading: This may be true of others but I actually got express permission from the trans community to keep NYT games and recipes. I also have a news subscription, which is arguably worse, so I had to specifically send in a written request. Took 30 days but I got approved.

For the record: NOPE. Honestly, I don’t think there’s an issue today I care about on a personal level more deeply than trans rights. And it’s rough out there right now. Bigots on one side of the political aisle and too many cowards on the other. ⬇️

Today’s unexpected tear-up moment: the but in Back to the Future where Biff tells George to leave so he can assault Lorraine, and he stays tells Biff to leave her alone. What got me was just how scared he clearly is combined with the cursed knowledge of how few real men would make that stand.

I think I've got my go-to response for future times when I hear somebody say how great Battlestar Galactica (the reboot) is. "Have you rewatched it lately?" Because I have a feeling the common answer will be "no," and I'll be able to leave it at that.

You know... with how much discourse I'd already heard about Obsession, I wasn't sure it could surprise me. I was very wrong about that. Not because of some sneaky plot turn but just because I wasn't prepared for how hard it goes with everything it's doing.
