Having played for three #CanPL sides and hoisted the FAI Cup in Ireland, David Norman Jr. is leaving the pitch. The son of retired #CanMNT midfielder David Norman, his career took stage in North America and Europe, coming to a close back home in BC.

Adekugbe had a fair number of very good seasons, but a few duds, notably two in the last three years, which probably led to his signing elsewhere. Still, one of the better passers this league has seen, and he will be missed! #CanPL #Analytics

Holding out on this type of player was a choice from Forge, and it has now come back to bite them in a big way. Badibanga in 2024 was an extremely direct and dangerous winger, and if he doesn't miss a step will be a weapon for Inter this season. #CanPL #InterToronto #Analytics

As per a club release, Inter Toronto FC have signed attacker Béni Badibanga through the 2026 season. The Belgian winger previously played for Forge FC. #CanPL

Hojabrpour is absolutely one of the better success stories of the CPL thus far. Perhaps it wasn't the springboard for a young player like other examples, but he developed in this league from a bit player to key contributer, and now is playing in Europe! #CanPL #ForgeFC #Analytics

Reid was an extremely dynamic attacking threat for York last season, someone who was probably serially underutilized in his time in the CPL. It's a shame we never saw him for a better team in a more consistent role. #CanPL #Analytics #USLChampionship

At best, Vehoeven was only an average player during his time in the CPL, posting his best season in 2019 but never again reaching those heights. His passing was always a strong suit, but his other metrics dragged him down. A fine career, and leaves the league a champion! #CanPL #Analytics
