Pretty satisfied with my decision to sell my Series X a few months ago. I’m mostly playing new retro games and most of the new stuff that I actually want to play is on Switch 2 that I can “borrow” from my kids.

I understand the principle of why Sony getting rid of physical media is bad, but modern physical media is basically useless without the system ecosystem in place for day one updates. Those discs will not be like our game cartridges today where you can just put it in and play.

Just got mine in the mail. The S2 controller upgrades are really nice. The button action feels so much better and n this iteration. And this design is my favorite of the special editions (so far). @maxbeforetheone.bsky.social did a great job with the custom controller art.
