i understand also that the agentic support has been around in vscode for a while now, it was something i mostly tolerated, but i'm a little disgruntled by the fact that its so hard to fully opt out and also just that this is the direction software is going.

vscode just released an update that is so incredibly bad and pointless that i am (regrettably) moving back to neovim. not entirely sure why software is so focused on injecting agentic tooling in literally everything without being opt-in... :/

to my close friends that may sometimes feel inadequate, just remember that when i put the most incomprehensible string of text in your dms its because i needed to remember something and i know i love you so much that ill come back and find it instead of forgetting.

i am begging game developers and musicians who are not putting your soundtracks on bandcamp/ampwall to just... do that... please... i will not be streaming your music off A Music Service. let me actually give you money.

genuinely been loving programming in ruby lately, i think this might be one of my new favorite dynamic + interpreted languages, its full of anti-patterns, pitfalls, and overall can be extremely cursed at times but its kinda awesome anyway lol?
