"It's dangerous to go alone! Take this." Loved it so much I ended up working for Nintendo as a gameplay counselor for a while. Still hard to believe that happened.
☆͏B͏e͏a͏r͏d͏y͏J͏i͏m͏☆͏ 🌈⃤@beardyjim.com · 2w agoWhat's your "origin" video game? Most gamers have a lot of favorite games, sure, but there's always one that basically 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴 you. I'm talking about the game that flipped that little switch in your brain and made into a life-long gamer. So, which game is 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨?
Yes, Zombie Apocalypse! Fun movie 🧟♂️🐅
Col. Hogan will never get over Macho Grande.@hollywoodron.bsky.social · 2w agoFilm 49: Zombie Apocalypse (2011) is an early work of @craigengler.bsky.social, one of the minds behind Z Nation and my favorite zombie series, Black Summer, which both hold up well against any of the good seasons of The Walking Dead while being much more interesting visually.

He's here... Blacktail dropped today! 9/3 in the UK.
Just found out The Library at Mount Char writer @scotthawkinswrites.bsky.social has a new novel out TODAY called Blacktail. Loved Library and can’t wait to read the new book.
Thanks for the donut!
Scott Edelman@scottedelman.bsky.social · last mo.Here are two more guests of Eating the Fantastic’s lightning-round donut episode — @craigengler.bsky.social and @rcwordsmith.bsky.social! And even though this was the fifth episode to be recorded over the Worldcon weekend, I’ll probably leapfrog it over the others and bring it live first.
It was 26 years ago, at the 2000 Chicago Worldcon, that I met with @craigengler.bsky.social and Brooks Peck and was offered a job editing the SCI FI Channel’s Science Fiction Weekly online magazine. I stayed there 13+ years. Thanks for the opportunity, guys! Seems like yesterday.

So apparently any team that I hope wins will automatically lose in the World Cup. Sorry Spain, I’m rooting for you. Blame me. It’s my fault.

One of the best vampire films ever made. I would love to see a 1970s set TV series about them. Just tooling around the southwest in a camper eating people and avoiding sunlight.
William Gibson@greatdismal.bsky.social · 6mo agoGreat film, brilliant director.
Congratulations, and happy anniversary.
William Gibson@greatdismal.bsky.social · 7mo agoYesterday was my sobriety anniversary, won’t say for how long because when I was first in the program people who had two whole weeks gave me hope, but I figured people with a year or more couldn’t be as alcoholic as I was. If you’re new, though, trust me: have hope.
You might want to start using some moisturizer, buddy.
