Just opened Threads by accident and it’s full of people trying to defund the RNLI and anti-vaxxers. What the hell has happened on there?

Most ridiculous extrapolation I've ever seen on newsnight. Andy Burnham might be antisemitic because his first interview was with Gary Lineker.
Your weekend reminder Nigel Farage wants to - leave the ECHR - repeal the Equality Act - Strip back workers rights - Lift restrictions on exploitative zero-hours contracts - repeal the Renters’ Rights Act PEOPLE OF CLACTON, MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT! youtu.be/KxOQRt8PQys?...
If UK media actually explained Nigel Farage’s policies to the public no one would be supporting him

Just a thought, if you are saying that VAT off electricity and cheaper bus fares don't have a massive effect then maybe those policies aren't aimed at you. Some people will see those as huge.
I've been enjoying the new approach to news from Zeteo too. Good to see journalists not giving people a free ride for the sake of 'balance'. https://zeteo.uk/?r=530qbw&utm_campaign=referrals-subscribe-page-share-screen&utm_medium=web

Not exciting but made pizza last night, for the first time this year. Looks ok.

The obsession with Governments having to name where things are funded from is getting silly. The bus fare cap uses £500 million which is 0.04% of annual spend. If that were a person on average income (£39k) then its like asking them to find 28 pence a week and say where they are saving it from!
I’ve got a banging headache and this match isn’t helping #lufc
I’m mildly irritated that this has traction now they are opening in London when the Leeds branch opened months ago. Apparently it’s shit anyway.

Feeling proud. Managed a dry 24 hours yesterday. This Christmas has been a tipsy one.
On a work call, 'Value Proposition' and 'Call to Action' have both just been used. I'm about to hang up.
Back to standing outside on Friday evenings watching kids football training. Don’t mind today as it’s a lovely evening but it’ll only be a few weeks before it’s pissing down and cold.
Which idiot organised a meeting in London the day before Easter. Livid.
On holiday in Spain and we can never say we have fussy eaters for children. They’ve had octopus croquettes, razor clams and were sitting peeling prawns.
Heading down to London, it’s currently 15 degrees and sunny in the north. Don’t ruin it, London.
Badly spent ‘in his opinion’. That’s key to all of this.
He’s so fucking cringe!
Surely, this has to be Archie McBishopface. Oh, they want actual names! www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Day 4 and the internet was back on when I woke up. I almost ran into the kids rooms like it was Christmas morning!
Day 3 of no internet and if it's still off when the kids get home in an hour there's likely to be a mutiny. To be honest, I'm pissed off with it now too.
Day 2 without broadband and the children are now bouncing off the walls. The suggestion to read a book went down quite poorly.
Been without broadband all day as someone has damaged the cable into the village. Kids are about to get home and I'm preparing for a meltdown. Forecast for repair is tomorrow at 7pm, wish me luck!
Full fibre broadband install is underway. Cable run through the front garden, hole drilled in the wall, router installed and powered up. We have 4 green lights but 1 red light....
The young one is kicking off as he wanted to play Fortnite which has a 12gb update and will take 45 minutes. I've explained its a day early as the ultrafast fibre is installed in the morning and it will only take 45 seconds. Stomped off to his room to play Indiana Jones instead.
