Money is tight and it’s Pride and my birthday month, so I’m finally biting the bullet and making myself available for AMA video calls. I have 20 years in the publishing industry. 16 as an editor of award-winning & bestselling MG and YA fiction and now as an agent.

Happy Pride month! 🏳️‍🌈 Personally, I don’t love talking about being aroace publicly, tho I did write a whole book about it, which is a little terrifying (why did I do this to myself???), BUT I’m so happy I can write books about ace/aro teens for the kids like I was (or anyone who doesn’t quite fit).

✨Book news incoming TOMORROW!✨ I *finally* have news to share about my debut YA aspec romance! 👀👀👀

Um…I think I get to make one of those “there’s a cover (sketch) shaped thing in my inbox 👀” posts and like, wut. Y’all, it’s SO GOOD! How am I not supposed to be insufferable about this while staring at it all day??? It is everything I hoped it would be and this is JUST the black and white sketch! 😍

Happy Aromantic Awareness Week! For my debut YA romance, I knew I wanted to include aromantic rep for one of the main characters. I’d never seen an aro love interest & wanted to explore what a love story could look like for an ace + aroace pairing. So Not Your Typical Love Story is just that.

Nothing in publishing (or life) is ever a straight path, but looking back, I can see the moments that led here even if I had no idea at the time. So as we near the end of the year, I’ve been thinking back, & is particularly strange because come 2026, I’ll be able to say “my book is out next year!”

Attention applicants! We're hosting an AMA on the RTM socials on 11/3 starting at 8 a.m. EST! We'll be answering questions about the program or anything specific you have for our mentors. (Some will also have AMAs on their personal pages, so keep an eye out!) See you then!

Author photos are here and I’m taking a poll because how am I expected to choose?! So, which one is your favorite? It’s strange to be at this stage in the process, because although I’ve spent years working towards being a published author, I never pictured this moment. 1/3 #debutauthors

Over on my Instagram people voted for what they wanted to see in celebration of my debut reaching 100 adds on Goodreads…and the winner was the first vs final opening! So here’s my cringy opening compared to the final—and a few other variations that existed along the way.
