Texas and Tennessee use a hodgepodge of different systems, some of which are ballot marking devices as described above. Some are "Direct Recording Electronic" machines that do not produce a paper trail, and should be avoided like the plague. 2/3
In TN, people are reporting they have to go back ~3 times to correct their ballot before casting it. Their votes for governor, flip from Jerri Green to Marsha Blackburn. I live in TN not all locations have machines. We are given a ballot, to fill out & then we place it in the printer to cast it.
Just received a voting reminder for the primary, with my voting record since 2024. Apparently my mail-in ballot was not counted during the last primary (Butler county PA, August 26 vote). Will be going in person this November
This happened to me in Florida in 24' and again on Monday. When you hit the touchscreen bar it would automatically light up the Republican option. You can hit the original choice again or multiple times if needed to register the correct vote. You need to go slow and triple check your choices.
