The cyclospora outbreak has reached 7,400 cases across 9 states. The FDA just recalled 1.6 million eggs due to salmonella contamination. Screwworm cases continue to rise. And we’ve just surpassed 2,300 measles cases — breaking 2025’s record. “Make America Healthy Again.”

The cyclosporiasis outbreak appears to be the largest ever recorded in the United States, and members of Congress are now demanding answers from the CDC about whether staffing cuts, hiring freezes, and agency reorganization affected the federal response.
1) I was in the hospital for 5 days with dizziness and intestinal problems. I figured it was the Cyclospora parasite at first since I live in Michigan. They did test for it eventually but no one ever told me anything. It wasn't until I accessed my test results that it was confirmed. I have it.
Infectious diseases like cyclospora and measles are spreading because the people in charge don't care about public health. That's why we need more scientists and/or healthcare professionals in the room. That's why I'm running.
