@creativeeurope.bsky.social shows what happens when culture has a dedicated route into EU funding. Cooperation becomes possible. Mobility becomes possible. Cross-border circulation becomes possible. It's not a perfect or sufficient model, but it proves that naming & funding culture changes access.
What if creative work gets ambition — but no budget? Europe asks culture to deliver innovation, participation, digital content and resilience. But if the major strategic funds are designed elsewhere, creative organisations remain useful but underfunded.
The sector does not need another silo. It needs a shared front: funding, fair work, AI rights, skills, governance and recognition. Different campaigns carry different parts of the argument.
BrandBrief connects allied campaigns into one implementation question: where will creative work sit in EU funding, skills, AI rules and governance? Name it. Fund it. Protect it. Include it. Sign: brandbrief.eu/petition.html #BrandBrief #CreativeEurope #CreatorsRights
What is BrandBrief asking for? Not symbolic recognition. Concrete mechanisms. Funding. Naming. Skills. AI remuneration. Procurement. Governance. Regulation. The main demand: ring-fence at least €760m for Cultural & Creative Industries in the EU Competitiveness Fund architecture.
There are many campaigns right now because the cultural and creative sector is under pressure from many sides.
BrandBrief starts from a practical risk: Europe is rewriting who counts as strategic for the next seven years.
The CreativeFED July Newsletter is out. The next EU policy and budget cycle is being shaped now — and Europe’s Cultural and Creative Industries need a clear place in it. us3.campaign-archive.com/home/?u=7eac...
Europe’s next funding architecture is being shaped now. Cultural & Creative work needs a named place, a budget line, fair AI rules, skills support & seats in the rooms where decisions are made. BrandBrief is already backed by more than 50 organisations & 100 citizens.
Culture is infrastructure. Europe’s creative work is not decoration around the digital economy. It is part of what gives it meaning. #BrandBrief #SaveCreativeWork
Creative sectors should not be invited after decisions are made. Not observers. Members. Sign BrandBrief: brandbrief.eu/petition.html #BrandBrief #CreativeEurope #CulturalPolicy

AI is changing creative work. Writers, designers, musicians, filmmakers, artists, publishers & creative SMEs need skills support too. Same status as clean transition, defence, space & digital. Sign BrandBrief: brandbrief.eu/petition.html #BrandBrief #CreativeSkills #CreativeEurope #CulturalPolicy
