this is a great illustration of one of the fundamental insights of democracy — that there is no such thing as "the people" and that majorities are elusive and ever shifting. no election, no decision, is final and treating an election as a final decision is profoundly undemocratic.

Questions the media should put to Pauline Hanson: Please explain how she is against renewables but for foreign oil. It does not seem very patriotic. Why does she supports Trump? And how far does it go? Who does she support the Ukraine or Russia? Would she speak to foreign leaders with contempt?
