Hi~ I’m a writer using RPGM to deliver compelling narratives! Swing by and let’s chat! Game dev can be a really lonely journey at times, so I think it’s important to connect with others! Check out my first game! https://crimson-blitz.itch.io/homecoming

Everyone warned me about plugins and feature creep in RPGMaker… No one warned me about sound-creep. I heard some people disliked the default RPGM sounds, so I bought a mega sfx bundle. For the next three hours, I was stuck choosing between cursor 1,2,3,4,5,6, 7 or 8 .·°՞(つ ≧□≦)つ՞°·. #gamedev

Rough UI designs, replaced all of the default RPGM sound effects with some free ones I found online, added BGM and also tweaked the post-processing and added some parallax lighting. Just a couple more features and then I can finally jump into writing (˶>⩊<˶) #rpgmaker #gamedev

Started working on a simple UI design for the computer... RPGM is easy when you're not pushing past its limits. Really, kudos out to the programmers. They're out there doing this all day. I can write you a script in two weeks, but I wasn't built for this .·°՞(っ-ᯅ-ς)՞°·. #rpgmaker #gamedev

Starting a new small project. This time I wanted to take RMMZ all the way to the modern era; the idea is another visual novel where you are a game developer. Think Youtuber's Life. Gonna be what I do while I wait for the next RPGM Jam to begin. This'll be exciting (˶>⩊<˶) #rpgmaker #gamedev

I’m not the expert on this, but you’re a writer trying to go for narrative design. I recommend making a game in the engine you’re aiming for. I finished a RPGM game and now I can’t stop thinking about mechanics every time I write a games script. It’s a very useful perspective. #indiedev #rpgmaker

I enjoy games MORE when the character I play as doesn't look like me or think like me. My favorite part of video games is being able to walk a mile in other people's shoes or see through somebody else's perspective. These perspectives enrich my own lived experiences. I love it.

After a few days of sitting down with Homecoming… I came to realize that there were many shortcomings. Homecoming’s strength was in it’s narrative, it was what I focused the most on. So… what did I make the player do at the start of the game? A boring bossfight. .·°՞(つ ≧□≦)つ՞°·. #rpgmaker

Sometimes I wonder if my posts looks a bit unconventional or overly enthusiastic from the outside. But honestly; being behind a pseudonym lets me express a side of myself that I don’t usually show. So I’m just going to keep doing that, It’s fun to express myself (づ> v <)づ♡ #thoughts #personal

Joining and finishing a game jam has really diminished my motivation to work on my own project Not because I burned out, but because it was just so fun I can’t wait for the next one, I’m already drafting a new narrative instead of working on my own game .·°՞(つ ≧□≦)つ՞°·. #rpgmaker #gamedev

Ooh boy, here we go again. This time I bought some asset packets on itch, really love this pack here by Booom. And also I need more music. The RPGM stock music is so limited in the options, you get: -> eurobeats battle music -> upbeat town music and that's basically it. Where's my sad pianos?!
