A few studies of some Mallard's. Love to just watch the ducks float around on very calm waters.

A few practice sketches of a harris hawk wing opening. Feeling a little rusty these days!
Some new sticker designs on the way! And my new obsession into drawing fish too, so hopefully have the combination between the two species in my work :)
Sometimes I do love to draw Dinosaurs! Diabloceratops and babies!
A few quick Robin doodles! Its great seeing them looking very round and asserting their territories for spring!
Does anyone have any cool bird ringing stories for migrating birds? I want to create a little book and some keyrings based on birds that migrate. I remember a story about a Blackbird that travelled to Norway and was 7 years old - I had no idea that they moved so much!
I was out with the birdwatching group today, which was phenomenal! This Kingfisher posed on this bulrush right out in the sun giving us all quite the show!
A couple of quick sketches to warm up! The Crows and Magpies are quite territorial at the moment, fighting for the best nesting sites or protecting their current territory from strangers.
I’m immersed in a bunch of new art involving ravens. They have such mysterious anatomy but this guide by @crowartist.bsky.social is the best. Available on their Etsy page. All the books are fabulous.
I want to thank everyone for supporting my work and small art business this year! I wouldn't be able to do my work without you! I have lots planned for next year, hopefully to get everyone in the nature journalling spirit for skill or for mental health as drawing from nature is very healing!
From the 13th of December, I will not be able to sell my items to the EU. :( (I will check for digital items)
I get asked a lot if I use reference photos or not. I do most of the time, I take my own pictures and they usually end up blurred - but they can still be worked with!
Drawings of Andrealphus and Vassago from @helluvaboss.bsky.social @vivziepop.bsky.social for my best friend! #HelluvaBossVassago #HelluvaBossFanart
Thank you @crowartist.bsky.social for the amazing books and prints! My animation classmates found the bird books very useful 🦉
A new mug design coming soon! I like to add a few favourite species together for something different. This time some autumnal migrants to look out for! Fieldfare, Waxwing and Redwing.
Hello everyone! I will be posting here a lot more in the future, I know the bird watching community is strong here! Don't forget to drop a like or any groups so I can re-follow everyone :)
I'm an artist based in England and I own a small store selling Prints, Cards, Enamel pins, Mugs and more of everyone's favourite birds! Check out my store below: http://crowartistetsy.co.uk https://crowartist.co.uk https://patreon.com/crowartist
A very rough sketch! My two favourite hobbies, bird watching and sky watching!
Here is a current favourite of mine that I do need to finish! A bird drawing challenge to push my knowledge and technique to the limits! It was very tough but worth it in the end, learning where my weak points are.
I had almost forgotten Bluesky was still around! I need to post here more often :) It can be time consuming juggling all the social medias at once.
My big illustration is complete! A Sparrow hawk catching a young House sparrow. Inspiration taken from the garden from last year of the male making his dramatic visits. Prints can be purchased from my store!
Dipper diving to look for some food! An illustration I've wanted to complete for a while!
Willow Warbler and Black-Redstart commissions! Really pleased how these turned out!
Some commissions of Pigeons! The Nicobar Pigeon and Victoria Pigeon!
Thank you so much @nambroth.bsky.social for the Bluesky invite!! I'm still figuring things out here! It seems very nice and its wonderful to see my feed filled with a lot of art!
