The worst part about depression is how it can cause you to withdraw away from people. Sometimes with the hope that they will notice and reach out and help you feel better. And then when they don't, you only feel worse. Don't do that. Reach out to people. Even if you feel like shit.

Genuinely recommend watching Evil Dead Burn if you haven't yet. Even if you aren't a big fan of the series, if you love horror, you will probably enjoy it. If you are a big fan of the series, plenty of things to love too. It feels heavily inspired by the first movie, with amazing theming.

Would be nice to actually get a "hey, congratulations, you're hired", just once. Happy I'm in a situation where I can more or less get by, but I feel like absolute garbage with all of these rejections.

Still limiting myself when it comes to social media, mostly for my own mental health. Stuff online can move so fast, sometimes it's easy to feel left behind or forgotten. Taking breaks is important though! I hope all of you are well!

Do you think we'll ever actually try to perform some kind of psychological study to determine how being Extremely Online affects your mental state? Like, genuinely. I've been avoiding social media for the most part and my mind is all the calmer for it.

Logging onto Bluesky dot app to say, if you're more likely to abandon a struggling and ignorant individual than stop participating in a game or app or whatever built by a corporation that is actively participating in harm... You really need to reconsider your priorities.
