This is sad news but understandable. When I registered on OSF years ago I was particularly impressed that the service was set up such that finding would suffice to keep posted materials permanently available. Great to see this promise was kept despite financing problems. OSF such a trailblazer!

I've spent 30-something years in front of classrooms. Even when I decided to get paid over 10 months instead of 12, I was never considered unemployed during the 8 weeks or so that I had off in the summer. That was true even before I got tenure.

Fuckin hell. Switzerland is mandatory 20 days, with convention being 25- and a legal obligation for all employees to get 2 weeks contiguous vacation annually. And this is considered minimal by European standards
