This. The Media and Democrats spout facts as if that matters. Trump's followers don't care what he says because that's not the point. He gave them permission. They'll never give that up. Watch. They'll make up a mythos, something heroic and doomed, to justify what they always wanted to do anyway.

Trump is not a president, but rather a permission structure to be the worst you can be.

We elected a fake TV reality character, and he filled his administration with unqualified weekend hosts and B-list media blowhards. Their job is distraction, so people don't see the scam. This isn't a democracy; It's a cardboard-cutout movie set. And it worked. Most people have no idea, do they?

Are we giving up on US laws? Trump just posted 7 crimes — Look! A new spoils system! — and every major news source rolls past this burning wreckage as if nothing happened. Political parties, too. We keep saying, "The attack ads write themselves." Well, they'd better, because the Democrats aren't.

This cruelty drives me nuts. "…Our job is to deport…" No acknowledgment of how terribly he's perverted everything about his agency into that one pinched, frightened, racist idea. What are these people: just liars, or do they believe this shit? This is a moment of despair for the country I love.

Who's lying the hardest here? Trump is being half-honest. He always wants money. Republicans keep pretending these are political donations. Trump never shares, but maybe this once? AP News loses. They know Trump doesn't give money to anyone, ever, and they're not blinded by Party loyalty.

One last from Friday's March on Washington. Climbing up the Lincoln Memorial steps, I finally got a pic of the Reflecting Pool. Notice how far out they put the fences. It's as if someone saw a picture from the original March and said, "Make sure they can't do that again."

Here's another pic from Friday's March on Washington. It's at the Eastern end of the Reflecting Pool, which was the only spot I saw that wasn't covered by tarps. They're still — still! — lying that it was vandalism and not defective work. I love the "No Trump" sticker on it, though.

At the bottom, someone put a sticker with "Trump" covered by a circle with a line through it.

I went to the March on Washington. Want to see the Reflecting Pool? Yeah, me too. It's behind covered fences. The Park Service pushed the fences way out, too, blocking off the grassy areas out to the sidewalks. It's like they're deliberately stopping any large event at the Lincoln Memorial. Huh.
