Q for the late diagnosed neurodivergents. Did you end up in nontraditional schooling paths? I don't know that I've seen enough for a trend. Maybe parents were also ND and understood public school sucked, maybe they knew you were different and tried to help with alternate schooling environments?
This is what ICE does. She's here legally. Has a order for protection from removal because of legitimate fear of harm if sent to Sierra Leone. She has no criminal history. She followed the fucking law to the letter.

Are trans folks all Cassandra's, or are the haters so transparent after you live amongst them in society? Ask yourself how you are so damn blind and what (and who!) you weren't paying attention to. Trans folks have been warning of this. Conservatives have said it was the next goal.

Question for other trans women. I usually give an unavailable vibe for safety. A moment ago that occurred to me that I'd much rather approach someone than be approached for flirting/dating. Even if an imaginary situation where the other person would be cool either way. Is that feeling common?

In effect, these people are setting up a narrative that if trans voting participation drops and the dems lose, it's because trans people chose to not vote and are to blame for the dems losing. This must be flatly rejected - any voter suppression is because of GOP policy, not because of Erin Reed
Weekly reminder to check your voter registration. It's usually easy to check online. Even if you sent back a ballot it voted early you may still want to check. You might be able to verify it was counted as being cast. I'm not sure if/what states may use an eligable in day of election requirement.

One of my autism special interests is meeting rules and parliamentary procedures. Down side is I don't have people to larp committees with. Bright side, if I schedule a work and I'm facilitating it then it'll run like clockwork. Folks like meetings that move and end on time.
Lots of door knocking options if anyone wants to get out and support candidates.

As someone who gets to do interviews, yes. Most of the time I'm a book dragon but dragons have polymorph usually so I get to be an interviewer cryptid sometimes. There are lots of rules, some are right and some are wrong. I only hold to the right ones. Best of luck, or woe be unto you.

Once the construction is done the staffing is really light. It's basically like a mining operation boom to bust in years a few years. Lots of jobs for a little while and then you've stripped the value and left waste. In this case infrastructure waste power draw, water waste, and noise.

Well, admin attempted to disenfranchise 16k voters. Got called out on it so walked it back to disenfranchising 200 voters. Going from a mythic widespread fraud to a small but real possible impact. And got that 100% wrong for zero detected fraud. Nearly 16k disenfranchised voters, ZERO fraud.

Then DHS officials told a skeptical Nevada, no no no, that’s just people we flagged. Here are the names of 185 people we KNOW aren’t citizens. All 185 were citizens. DHS got 100% wrong.
Ahh cool, 'allies' doing the thing again where they throw trans people under the bus to I guess get political points towards something they want? The gay allies even. I know a lot of great and supportive gay folks. None of them are in politics and the ones in politics seem like the crappy ones.

Today is the kickoff of Boise pride. Which we start with a trans march. It was great to see so many familiar faces. So many parents there for their children. So many of us affirming that we won't just leave. We continue to exist and specifically we will continue to exist *here*.

The next 2 weeks in idaho the LDS church is reading a letter across the pulpit telling folks to vote no on Prop 1 in idaho. Which overturns our draconian abortion restrictions thatve led to 37% loss in idaho OBGYNs. The hubris of men.
