“Oh you can’t understand the words to the song? Just listen to it a couple more times, you’ll catch on!” I have listened to entire albums over and over and over and over, for YEARS, and i still don’t understand words unless i finally look up the lyrics.
Anyone got any good ideas of where to get a metric buttload of light weight beads for not super expensive? I want to make a couple bead curtains for my kid’s closet, but i don’t have a million dollars or local access to bulk bead buying (absolutely NOT michael’s, don’t even suggest it to me)

My kid is watching the Bee Movie of their own volition on the tv and I had a moment of smugness that my first time watching it was here on Bsky when @yallchemist.bsky.social posted it in its entirety in small segments. It took me forever, but it was a far superior experience imo

Sometimes it’s really isolating having not grown up with any kind of religious anything. I’ve been to churches & whatnot later in life, but I didn’t have any kind of exposure to that stuff as a kid — at least not in a way that my family participated in.
