The war has exacted a horrific toll on Gaza’s children. With the announcement of the ceasefire deal, it is imperative that the parties fully adhere to it and allow the necessary level of aid in. Children need lasting peace NOW.

Firefighters are still tackling recent wildfires in LA. This catastrophic event must act as a wakeup call. Since 2010, one in five firefighter jobs have been axed, leaving us underprepared for climate disasters. We only need to look at major UK wildfires since 2011 to see why we need more funding.

From #Gaza and #Sudan to #Ukraine, #DRC, #Haiti and many more, children are paying an immensely high price for conflict. They are severely affected by violence, destruction of schools and infrastructure, and compromised health services. They need safety, services and peace.
