103 years ago, the Equal Rights Amendment was introduced to guarantee equality under the law regardless of sex. In 2020, Virginia became the 38th and final state to approve it. Congress must vote to remove the time limit for ratification so the ERA can finally become the 28th Amendment.
So after hearing a prominent health care system in our area is unable to book new patient PCP appointments until 2027, some pondering occurred. Research says 1 PCP for every 1,333 people in Culpeper. About 88% are insured. There are about 65-70 PCPs in Culpeper County.
