The nice things about books: once you own them, you own them, forever. No one will be eye tracking your reading habits. No one will make money of you reading the book as many times as you'd like. And the very same book can be read by generations to come. It can last centuries, literally. It's great.

GREAT HEEP 40th ANNIVERSARY TRIVIA! In Legends, the Great Heep was part of an ancient machine race known as the Abominor. They fought a war versus another machine race (the Silentium). This droid war is what caused the Yuuzhan Vong to completely despise & outlaw all technology!

As Spielberg's "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" turns 44 this week, here's a fun reminder that the alien exists in both the Star Wars and Indiana Jones universes. E.T.'s species is seen in the Senate in "The Phantom Menace" and among the gylphs in the Temple of Akator in "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."
