for those who don't know i run a shop for objects i find beautiful and i am very picky about my inventory because i want it to be something shockingly good. i strictly do not stock things you can walk into a regular retail store and find. it's my ode to excellent product design
anne hero@annehero.world · 2y agoi think buying vintage and custom (like the clear gamecube) requires being in touch with what you like and why you like it. you become very hard to be marketed to when you can do those things. i think it's a healthy exercise as a consumer and it makes you so much pickier and you spend less money too

Art drawn by people who very rarely make art and think they are “bad at art” is 1000x cooler than AI art. It’s life-affirming. It’s often unexpected. I cannot overemphasize how much I love when people just go for it. You do not need the machine for this human endeavor.
